New dates are live on for our "Pods & Pints" Monday night MTG Commander Events hosted in collaboration with Smoke and Fire Social Eatery. These fun social gatherings offer a great opportunity to mingle with fellow Magic fans over some great food and drinks!
Hi Everyone I hope you are having a wonderful day. I am gonna be headed to the shop early in the afternoon to play some casual magic. I know it’s short notice, but I am encouraging new players to come and join me. I love teaching people magic, and there is no problem if you know nothing about the game.
Sounds great. I would love to however I have work until 6. Maybe next time.
So it has been more than 20 years since I played MTG. I know I am old, my daughter tells me all the time. But over the weekend I was introduced to "commander." There was a nice guy at the shop who allowed me to borrow a deck he made. And it re-ignighted something. So I got 2 "starter decks" and a whole lot of boosters. And viola....
So if any of you all see me at the shop. And are feeling kind enough to let me try my first deck. Just ask... I am down.

Hey Foundations is coming around the corner and it’s probably the best time to invite new people to magic. It doesn’t introduce any new mechanics to the game, and highlights the strategies each color does best. So if you have someone's in your life that you want to bring into the game do it now. It’s back to basics just like the core sets of the past, and it emphasizes that the best cards are the most flexible. What cards are you looking forward to?
